Ok So It's Spring...

God I love spring! Rebirth and all that $hit and man the air smells a little better even!!
I love communing (at a safe distnce) with nature in the spring and at the risk of sounding like some tree huggin'' 70''s leftover never came back from my acid trip...hey there never was any revolution!! Spring is a fine time of the year to try and get my head back screwed on straight. I yearn to see if the poor animals servived that nasty winter, if the rabbits will be hopping buy to gobble the leftovers under the birdfeeder. Say, where is Mr Chippy my pal the slinky tan dude with the ferrel stripe down his back who trys to get in my kitchen every summer evening? He has some fast moves on those hungry birds, just a shadow and I know he is safe beneath my mudroom...but is he this time? Will the birdies come and eat by my kitchen window again so I can hear their songs and wash their crap off my car windows? Did I prune the bushes too close? Will the new tree bloom and grow? Will the flowers bloom from the bulbs I buried deeply beneath the dark rich soil I churned up last fall? Will my wild serenity garden be a beautiful place for me to commune with my mother?
Spring is full of question...and promise.
I love it, I can drink in life that has some risk to it, there is something I must wait for...pray for.
