It Took Awhile...

for some people to accept the fact that pets are a member of the family and should be treated as such. They have their own food and beds and toys and personal space. And so do my dolls. I use the name "sweet peas" to refer to the lot of them (somewhere around 400 Kelly dolls) and my Staci & Kooper, perpetually age 6 years because they had a well publicised b-day party, are my special twins and you will see alot of them along with their friends and cousins. However you will notice that there are never any parents in my dolly world and you can speculate as to the real reason, but I will tell you this; I fill my world with childhood joy and imagination and just like in the Lil Rascals or The Peanuts that I grew up with, you never see or hear adults who tend to spoil fun and set limits. We all know how we WERE and how we BECAME as we aged and grew arthritic and crabby and its not a fun picture. Much funner to escape reality (withut drugs of any kind).
I have begun a virtual tour of Staci and Kooper's home starting with the kitchen and the happy activities that take place there. If you check back often you will get the full tour including the upstairs bedrooms fashioned appropriately for a girl and boy, the playroom/sunroom, and learn alot about my twins personalities.
NOTE:
You will frequently see pics of my dolls here which is one of my hobbys where I can release pent up creative juices and breathe deeply after a stressful week in the NICU. I hope that the pictures make you smile, make you wonder a little, and mostly to bring up happy memories of childhood--real or imagined.
